Question 1

How do I know the locksmith at my door is really from your company?

Accepted Answer

Every technician arrives in a marked vehicle, wears a company uniform with a photo ID badge. Before any work begins, you verify the tech's name against the dispatch confirmation you receive by text, and they confirm your service request details back to you.

Question 2

How do you prove the property is mine before opening it?

Accepted Answer

We require proof of authorization before entry: a matching ID plus any of a lease or deed, a utility bill in your name, or a neighbor or building manager who can vouch for you. We will not open a lock for anyone who cannot establish a right to enter.

Question 3

Will your entry method damage my lock or door?

Accepted Answer

Our default approach is non-destructive: professional pick tools and bypass techniques designed to open the lock without forcing or drilling it. Drilling is a last resort used only on genuinely un-pickable or failed locks, and we always ask your permission and explain the cost first.

Question 4

Are your locksmiths background-checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every technician is bonded and insured and has passed a criminal background check before joining the team. You can always ask the tech at your door for their ID badge and confirm their name against the dispatch text we send you.

Question 5

Is it safe to call a locksmith at 3 AM? How do I avoid scams?

Accepted Answer

We protect you three ways: you get a clear quote on the phone before we dispatch; the technician confirms that price again in person before any work starts; and the price you're quoted is the price you pay — no hidden fees added after the fact. If the person at your door won't show a license and ID, don't let them touch your lock.

Question 6

Is my payment information secure?

Accepted Answer

We never write down or store your card details. Payments are processed through a PCI-compliant card reader on the technician's device, and you receive an itemized digital receipt by text or email immediately after the job. We also accept cash and Zelle.
